Remove the bolts connecting the Catalytic Converter to the turbo exhaust flange and remove the converter. Inspect the turbo flange and verify the nitrogen seal ring is still in place. These seal rings are ok for reuse if not damaged.

Remove sample tubes from removed Catalytic Converter, wire brush threads and
apply anti seize to threads of the sample tube taking great care not to get any
inside the sample tube itself. Install tubes to the Hyper Flow converters and
tighten up.
At this time inspect the centering fit of the tail pipes in the rear bumper
hole. If re-centering is required, loosen the 3 bolts and nut combos on the
waste gate outlet pipe to muffler flange. With these loose, slide the muffler in
or out on this pipe until the tail pipes are centered. Tighten the 3 bolts to
retain in this position.

Place slip flange on converter outlet followed by the supplied seal ring. Anti-seize the converter to turbo bolts and install. Snug up the 3 flange bolts but do not tighten at this time.

Install the nut and bolt assemblies holding the Catalytic Converter to the
muffler, reversing the 2 upper bolts with the springs on the muffler side of the
flange (towards rear of car) and the lower in its original position. Snug up
bolts with the heat shield studs at a 12:00 o’clock position.
Torque all 6 converters to turbo bolts to 29 NM.
Wire brush the threads of the removed oxygen sensors taking care not to allow
any debris to get on the sample portion of the sensor. Apply anti seize to the
threaded portion only and install to the converters, torque to spec.
Tighten all bolts and nuts at the muffler to Catalytic Converter junctions.
Tighten the 4 pinch bolts on the slip flanges at the outlet of the converters.
Reinstall thermo probes for the slow down ECU’s.
Suggestion:
Replace the slow down ECU’s with Ferrari part # 142581. Ferrari finally built a
reliable unit and it is well worth having in place.

Reinstall heat shield.
